✨📸 Little Moments, BIG magic!

We are creating new art gallery images of wonder, movement, daydreams, and all the in-between moments 💫 for our wall display @Cultivate A Community Table in Downtown Frankfort.

We are looking for children (ages 1–12) to photograph in a joy-filled, playful session at our studio at 100 Kansas Street in Downtown Frankfort.

🌿 Participating families receive:

• A complimentary session.
• The opportunity to create and purchase bespoke artwork of your child(ren) for your home.
• An invitation to be a part of this very special art gallery.

All images will be shared only with parental approval, and for this art gallery project.

It really is as simple as the name suggests.

Timeless portraits in black and white of children ages 2 to 99, with lots of personality.

The project was created for a private gallery showing at the Dana House, a Frank Lloyd Wright home in Springfield, IL, in May. Nine photographers from the US and Canada were chosen to participate. I displayed two portraits in the gallery show. There was live music and hors d'oeuvres. The 20x20 portraits were printed and matted, displayed on easels throughout the home.

It was a complete success.

I truly felt like I was looking into the face of God with every child I photographed. There was a ton of personality, and it was easy to capture these wonderful images. 

Parents cried when they saw them. Happy tears, of course. And the portraits are now living in the homes of these families. I am so happy these children get to see these portraits every day in their home as they grow up. These portraits will only become more meaningful and valuable as time marches on.

After all, these children, just a month later, probably are a little taller, with a few less teeth, and look quite different. Time doesn't stop.
