Last winter, Mokena Miracles was looking for families that they could help.

They wanted to make the holiday season a little better for families who may have fallen into difficult circumstances or challenges. I knew a family that could use a little more Christmas, so I let Mokena Miracles know. They answered in a big way, helping the family out not only with wonderful gifts, but also with what most would consider very basic necessities that they were doing without. It was a wonderful effort and gesture to give a family a Christmas that they weren't expecting. And they didn't do this for just one Mokena family, but for three.

They truly personify what I love most about living where I live. The people in this town are some of the kindest, most generous people I have ever known. They are always willing to lend a hand, to lift up the community, and to give back.

Because Mokena Miracles relies strictly on donations to bring Christmas to families, I wanted to do something make sure they can continue to spread good will throughout our town.

I would love to make Christmas happen in July for them. With your help and participation I know we can!

This summer, from Memorial Day though the Fourth of July, I am offering a special summer sunset session for $75. I want these sessions to  celebrate relationships - particularly those in families - between moms and kids, dads and kids, and siblings.

The entire session fee will be donated to Mokena Miracles. And as a thank you for your generosity, I will provide you with a great experience, some beautiful artwork for your home, and a really cool bonus gift: a 5x5 metal print and stand as a special thank you for your generosity.

My goal is to schedule 25 sessions, which would translate into almost $2000 for Mokena Miracles. Will you help make this happen?
