Happy First Day of School, Mokena!
No matter where you live, I’ll bet school is right around the corner!
But it is still only August, and there are still plenty of ways you can stretch out the summer feels this month. After all, Fall doesn’t technically start until September 22.
We’re helping you celebrate Last Best Days of Summer!

This week, it was a pleasure to visit The Wildflower Farm in Monee, where we photographed Molly, an absolutely beautiful, inside-and-out, Lincoln-Way senior.
Not only are there plenty of great spots to create amazing portraits at this locally-owned business, but The Wildflower Farm offers a lot of fun for families – especially if you love fresh flowers. Seasonal u-pick is available now, which includes super-cute glass containers to fill and bring home to enjoy for days after your visit.
For the littles, you will find vintage trucks and tractors on site, goats to visit, playground slides and sometimes, a bouncy house to burn off some of that leftover summer energy.
There is regularly scheduled live music and food vendors for the not-so littles, and regular events like yoga in the field.
Find all the info on The Wildflower Farm here. There are plenty of summer events planned before Fall arrives, so make sure you make plans to check it out!
Let's catch up next week for another great Last Best Days of Summer Idea!
