2018 JOY
It is such a natural tendency to review the past year on the eve of a new one.
One great way to reflect on the past year this is to scroll backwards through your photo feed and see what happened to bring you the most joy during the past 12 months. Life is such a series of emotions. For me, a whole lot of 2018 was filled with happiness, abundance and love, among some mistakes, sadness, and disappointments.
Today, I did my best to choose 15 images from 2018 to depict the joy I experienced during this past year.
These moments are magnificent – the Muir Woods Redwoods and Punta Sur.
And challenging – our new puppy, Ria.
They are funny – like my Bible Study on the floor of the Frankfort Library women’s bathroom during a tornado warning this summer.
And really wonderful – having our family together for my dad’s 80th birthday.
All the photos, however, center around events and more importantly, the relationships I have with my husband, my children, and my friends - some old and some new - who make my life more interesting, more love-filled and of course, more joyous.
As we put another year on the books, here is wishing that your focus for 2019 remains filled with joy, no matter what circumstances, setbacks or disappointments you may endure.
